36: Portland Weather for February 5, 2026

Good morning, it's February Five, Two Thousand Twenty Six! And it's a Thursday! Here in Portland, Oregon. Looking out the window right now and it is dark. Still about an hour before sunrise. Very still right now. The city lights are glowing soft against a clear sky. Forty-three degrees Fahrenheit, around six degrees Celsius. And here's the thing — we're going to get some beautiful blue skies and golden sunshine today. This afternoon should be going up to around sixty degrees, about fifteen Celsius. Sixty degrees in February. Today I was thinking about how the birds know spring is coming before we do. You can hear it in their songs lately. Today I'd recommend listening to "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. Nineteen sixty-nine. Seems about right. Everyone have a great day.
