51: Portland Weather for February 20, 2026

Good morning, it's February Twenty, Two Thousand Twenty Six! And it's a Friday! Here in Portland, Oregon. Yesterday was just gray and wet and cold. Rain and hail coming down all day. One of those days where you look out the window at eight in the morning and then again at four in the afternoon and nothing has changed. Same gray. Same wet. Portland doing what Portland does in February. Forty-four degrees this morning, around seven Celsius, and there is a chance of snow showers before seven but after that it should mix with rain. South wind picking up a little. Now tonight is going to be interesting. Dropping down to thirty-five and there is a frost advisory. Widespread frost after ten tonight. So if you have plants outside that you care about, and I know some of you do, maybe bring them in or throw a sheet over them. The frost is real tonight. Saturday warms back up to forty-nine with rain and snow showers likely, so this cold snap is a short visit, not a long stay. Just passing through. Like a lot of things. Have a great weekend everybody.
