33: Portland Weather for February 2, 2026 (Afternoon)

Good morning. It's Monday, February the second, two thousand and twenty-six, here in Portland, Oregon.

Looking out the window this morning and the sky is soft. Gray, but a gentle gray. A little rain may visit us through the early afternoon, just a light rain, nothing to worry about. Very still right now.

Forty-six degrees Fahrenheit, about eight degrees Celsius. This afternoon should be going up to around fifty-four, twelve Celsius, and here's the thing — those clouds should thin out later and we may get some nice light coming through by the end of the day.

Today I was thinking about Howlin' Wolf and that song Smokestack Lightning from nineteen fifty-six. What a sound. Just tremendous.
